The visa-challenged drama is so real on 90 Day Fiance that the spinoffs keep coming. The latest promises to bring fans more of one of the most popular couples on the franchise: Chantel Everett and Pedro Jimeno. That means to quote Mother Chantel: “…Things are about to get a little bit more stupider.”
Pedro and Chantel appeared on Seasons 2 and 3 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? The couple are also slated to costar in Season 4. That decision seemed almost certain after The Family Chantel dinner where there were hair extensions flying as opposed to chicken feet, which piled up like kindling on Pedro’s mother’s table in the DR.
An article in E!News announced a new spinoff starring The Family Chantel. In it, Pedro and Chantel will take center stage along with their in-laws, both his and hers. The new series is set to premiere in July on TLC.
“This is an awesome moment for TLC, as we create a family show based on one of our most popular 90 Day couples, and on a whole new night,” Howard Lee, president, and general manager of TLC said in a statement. “Our fans can’t get enough of Pedro, Chantel, and their larger-than-life families. For a brand known as THE destination for love, relationships, and family shows, The Family Chantel hits the bullseye.” If they threw in some baking, I’d agree.
The spinoff will feature Chantel’s parents Karen and Thomas Everett, siblings River Everett and Winter Everett, and Pedro’s mother Lidia Jimeno and sister Nicole Jimeno.

The conflict between Pedro’s and Chantel’s families was rooted in their initial appearance. Since Chantel chose to introduce Pedro to her family under false pretenses. She said he was in the US on a student visa rather than a K-1 fiance visa. From there, the problems multiplied.
Before the new spinoff, TLC plans to air Pedro & Chantel: The Full Story so everyone can catch up. The Family Chantel is the latest 90 Day spinoff. The 90 Day franchise is setting a ratings record on TLC. The cablers’ line up also includes 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days; the above mentioned Happily Ever After? and 90 Day Fiance: What Now? TLC is also launching 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way later this summer. The Other Way follows Americans who move overseas to be with their one and only.
