This puppygate storyline on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has infiltrated many Bravo shows. Well, not the shows themselves, but the cast members have shared their opinions. Vanderpump Rules stars Stassi Schroeder and Lala Kent shared their opinions on who is at fault. Their costar Scheana Marie even said that she has empathy for Kyle Richards following that fight with Lisa Vanderpump at Villa Rosa. Shahs of Sunset star Mercedes “MJ” Javid went public with her stance on the storyline. She is a very avid member of Team Vanderpump. Now, Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel is sharing her two cents, which is very interesting since she has been friends with Kyle and Lisa Rinna for decades.
During last night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen read a message from a fan who asked, “How do you feel about Kyle and LVP ending their friendship?”
Bethenny responded, “Based on the way Kyle’s talking, I don’t think it will be over.” But she didn’t end there.
Instead of just stopping there keeping it optimistic, Bethenny shared her perspective on the puppygate nonsense. And, of course, she managed to work in one of her previous RHONY taglines into the conversation. In case anyone needs a refresher, in Season 9, Bethenny warned, “If you’re gonna take a shot at this B, you better not miss.”

On Watch What Happens Live, Bethenny said, “As I said to Lisa [Rinna] by text, and I don’t know all the backstory because it is intense and there is a lot of backstory, if you’re gonna take a shot at that V, you better not miss.” What? Is she saying she advised them to “take a shot at” Vanderpump?
Bethenny continued, “I said to Lisa Rinna, you gotta land it, if you’re trying to put her in the ground and there’s one finger moving, you better make sure she’s dead. And she ain’t.”
Bethenny reminded us all, “I know Lisa Rinna for years. Kyle and I are friends for years.” She went on to explain, “I’m posting [as a viewer] and I don’t know all of the backstory, but I know they had an issue. I think the dog thing went on for far too long.” There are plenty of people who agree with that stance.
And just for good measure, she semi called out Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave. Bethenny said, “And I do think Teddi going, ‘Who gave the order? I wouldn’t do it without the order.’ What are you a Castellano?” For anyone wondering what she meant, Paul Castellano was an infamous mob boss.

Obviously, viewers were up in arms about Bethenny seemingly confirming that Rinna intentionally took a shot at their savior LVP. As a result, Bethenny clarified her remarks the next morning She tweeted, “What I said was to indicate that @lisarinna & @KyleRichards are my girls & if LVP was up to some trickery, they have to be very clear because she will go down fighting. I have no issue with @LisaVanderpump personally but there seems to be a lot going on behind the scenes.”
Bethenny also told her followers, “I was on @BravoWWHL last PM & @Andy asked me about the ‘dog’. I’m real friends with @lisarinna bc she shoots straight no chaser. I text her & my friend @KyleRichards all the time & FACT, they had ZERO to do with any items leaked. That much I know.”
She later told a Twitter user, “These ‘takedowns’ are fiction. On my show, it happens also because the women hit a breaking point. And there is always more going on than you know. Keep watching.”

Bethenny explained to her followers, “Furthermore, any “takedown” accusations are absurd. Sometimes, a group gets fatigued from a castmates’ actions & communicates on & off camera. @KyleRichards is real friends with @LisaVanderpump & I was expressing that LVP is not one to take that lying down.”
