Everyone can’t stop talking about Lisa Vanderpump. Every single episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is centered around her. Even housewives from other shows, like Nene Leakes, added her two cents about Lisa.
Now the Vanderpump Rules cast can’t stop talking about Lisa either. Stassi Schroeder and Lala Kent shared their thoughts on puppygate. Scheana Marie weighed in on the feud between Lisa and Kyle Richards. And Stassi is back at it again, this time with Ariana Madix and Kristen Doute.
In a video interview for the Vanderpump Rules After Show, Stassi and Kristen discussed on how they wished Lisa behaved on the show. Ariana was there too, but she mostly sipped her tea and nodded approvingly.
They first showed a clip of the opening night at Tom Tom. Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz ushered a protesting Lisa into the sidecar of their motorcycle. The hesitation was short lived however and she had a blast. She was like a kid, laughing and having fun as Tom 1 drove off with her down Santa Monica Boulevard.
Stassi said about that scene, “Once you have those moments with Lisa that are like real and authentic, it’s like, you’re so wonderful. Can’t you just be like this with us all the time? Like get out of like boss mode and get out of your head…this is what makes us love you Lisa.” If Lisa was like that all the time, the whole cast would step all over her.
Kristen added, “I feel like for a period of time I’ve forgotten she could ever be that way. Of course I respect her as a business woman. I love what she does for animals, like there’s so many wonderful qualities she has, she works so hard.” Kristen needs to up her “fake nice” game, I’m not buying it.

She continued, “But other than that, I’m like no, she’s not my kind of people. I don’t like her, she’s not nice, she’s not kind. But, then I see that moment…I just remember every time she was like that and it was just adorable.” Don’t worry Kristen, you’re not Lisa’s “kind of people” either.
Stassi said, “But she can also be like really mothering when she’s being her real true self. And make you feel like, yeah, ok you really do care about me and I care about you. Vanderpump Rules needs more of that, season eight!”
I do agree that we need more moments of Lisa having fun and being silly. The motorcycle scene was delightful. And it was such a pleasant change from the dreck we’ve been seeing on RHOBH. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait until season eight of VPR to see more moments like that!
