Sonja Morgan has an uncanny ability to navigate through all the drama of the Real Housewives Of New York. She’s definitely got into some feuds with her castmates. However, she always manages to smooth things over with just the right amount of charm.
So naturally, because of this finesse, Sonja often finds herself in the middle of a feud. And on this 11th Season of RHONY, it’s all about Luann de Lesseps and Dorinda Medley. The other ladies are, of course, taking sides with Bethenny Frankel on Team Countess while Ramona Singer has been backing her friend Dorinda. This week on her blog, Sonja shared her opinions as the feud intensified and several lobsters went unaccounted for at Barbara Kavovit’s clambake.
Let’s start with the lobsters. Sonja had this to say in her Bravo blog post: “Luann has forgotten who I am if she thinks I’m not taking the lobster to go. And who needs a to-go bag when you have a Sonja Morgan New York dress? Fill her up! What does Luann care?”
Sonja suspects Luann’s protests have a deeper meaning. “Obviously she still has ill feelings towards Dorinda as well. I clearly said I was heading back early because we left Dorinda alone and I felt bad. So, I took lobsters for each of us and knew Barbara wouldn’t mind. Lu says she’s cool, but obviously, she’s not cool with Dorinda right now.”
Sonja, ironically, thinks Luann should refrain from answering questions concerning Dorinda’s drinking habits when speaking to the press. Because Sonja always exonerates herself from any similar wrongdoing by saying “Page Six called me.” On her blog, Sonja wrote, “while I’m on the subject of Luann, she also shouldn’t be blabbing to the press about Dorinda and her drinking, especially since that’s what set off Dorinda back in Colombia in the first place.”

Sonja wrote about her long-time friend Ramona. There can’t be enough said about Ramona’s behavior and lack of self-awareness, but Sonja gives it a shot. She wrote, “I’m glad to see that Barbara is confronting Ramona about the lies she was spreading about Lu. Don’t kick a girl when she’s down! I was disgusted at what Ramona said about Dennis [Shields] back at the house. Not only was it wildly insensitive and so far over the line, it wasn’t even the truth.”
Bethenny gave reconciliation a shot at Sonja’s party as she tried to get Dorinda and Luann to speak. Sonja didn’t think it was the right time. She wrote, “I was glad to see everybody on their best behavior in this very chill atmosphere, but sure enough these girls can’t help themselves. So, leave it to Bethenny to get Dorinda and Lu face to face, like she’s announcing boxers to the ring.”
How about that kiss? Sonja played it coy, “tune in next week for my impromptu make-out. And just when I thought “I Kissed a Girl and I Liked It” was getting old…..”
