Fans of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills know that Kyle Richards has a super close bond with her daughters. She also seems to be a hands on mom. You don’t see twenty nannies running around her home, ahem, Dorit Kemsley.
On the show this week, we were put to sleep as Kyle saw another member of her brood off to college. And even though she still has several daughters living at home, Kyle is probably suffering from empty nest syndrome. Here comes Andy Cohen to the rescue!
In an article from People, Andy revealed on Watch What Happens Live that Kyle was the first housewife to terrorize meet his son! He said, “Guess what? Kyle Richards was the very first Real Housewife to meet my son today!” I hope little Benjamin Allen Cohen wasn’t too traumatized. He’s got many more grifters housewives to meet.
Andy also shared a photo of the momentous occasion. In the picture, Benjamin is looking up at Kyle with “a wide-eyed, curious expression.” He was probably thinking, “Why are you continuously harping on about #puppygate? I’ve only been alive for 5 weeks and I’m already over it.”

Baby Benjamin was also dressed up to meet Kyle. Andy joked, “I put him in Gucci just for you!”As long as Andy doesn’t dress him in tacky Chanel suspenders like the ones Dorit wore on her horseback riding excursion with Erika Girardi and Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave. They were atrocious! But maybe it was just the person wearing them?
Kyle gushed about the experience meeting Andy’s son. She said, “I’m so in love with him I can’t even take it.” She added, “It’s literally like holding Andy without the suit on. … Like a little Andy.” I know she didn’t mean it this way, but it read like she was holding a grown up Andy in his birthday suit. Don’t need that image in my head!
It’s only fitting that Kyle got to be the first housewife to meet Andy’s son. After all, she was the one who put together his epic housewives baby shower. And although her anxiety is an ongoing issue, at least her empty nest syndrome was cured for a short while!
