Vanderpump Rules stars Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval have come a long way in their relationship. We first saw the couple “adulting” when they shopped for a new couch together. In my opinion, Tom should have burned his old couch long before Ariana came along. Who would want to sit on it after Kristen Doute and Jax Taylor hooked up on it?
In another adulting moment, Tom proudly talked about their commitment to one another when they purchased a new credenza. Oooh la la. Recently, Tom and Ariana made the ultimate commitment when they got engaged bought a $2 million dollar, 5 bedroom 5 1/2 bath property. What adulting magic can they do with all that space?
In an interview with Bravo Home & Design, Tom dished on what they want to add to their new digs. He said about their home, “We bought it turn key. The finishes are all really nice and everything, but we’re [going to add] a social media room.”
Am I the only one who has never heard of a “social media room” before? I pictured a tiny room filled with interns at cramped desks, who are forced to work for free and spend their twelve hour shifts tweeting, posting Instagram stories, and adding flower crowns to photos of Tom and Ariana.
Luckily, Tom clarified as to what a social media room is. He said, “It’s just gonna be like a photo studio-type thing.” Ok, that makes sense. If Scheana Marie wasn’t living on the west side, she would be over their new house every…single…day.

Now I picture a room with a green screen, photography lights, bounce boards, and selfie sticks lined up along the wall. And a mirror surrounded by little light bulbs, where Tom can ensure his forehead is shaved to perfection. And, of course, Ariana can practice her blank looks and stand up comedy.
In all seriousness, it’s actually a great way to make use of all that space they have. It’s a lot cheaper to film or take pictures in your own home than rent a space. And filming and taking pictures are what Tom and Ariana like to do together. After all, the couple that is vain together, stays together!
