Now that Andy Cohen has someone else to call him Daddy, is he already making plans for more kids? When Benjamin Allen Cohen was born on February 4, Andy’s life went from after-hours cocktails to after-hours formula. Furbaby Wacha now has to compete for Daddy’s attention!
The new father has been receiving lots of support from his family of Housewives, who are all shining examples of motherhood waiting to share their knowledge on the dos and don’ts of child-rearing. As most parents know – minutes after your child arrives, people begin asking when you’re having more. So is there a brother or sister in Ben’s future? According to the host of Watch What Happens Live, it depends.
Real Housewives of Orange County’s Tamra Judge was on a pre-baby episode of Radio Andy and asked the host if he planned on having another baby. According to an article from Bravo’s The Daily Dish, Andy responded, “You know what, Tamra, I grew up with a sister and two parents, my parents were always around. It was a very nice upbringing in the suburbs of St. Louis and I loved being able to hang out with my sister. We were like a little team. So the answer is I’m really praying that I have the strength and fortitude to do it again.” I can relate, sometimes I hope I have the strength to water my plants.
NeNe Leakes from Real Housewives of Atlanta also had some questions for Andy. Bravo’s The Daily Dish reports that NeNe asked, “I’m surprised, why did [you not] choose twins?”

Anded responded, “I thought about it a lot and I just decided I would rather get really good at having one kid and then see if I could have another one. It seemed like a little too much for me.”
Good choice, better to get your feet wet before you dive deep in the kiddie pool. In the same conversation, Andy’s BFF John Mayer questioned whether he would use the same surrogate for his next child. He replied with a definitive “Yes.”
Hopefully, Andy is still basking in the afterglow of having a newborn. We’ll see how he feels in a few months when it really starts to get interesting.
