Jenni “JWoww” Farley, star of Jersey Shore Family Vacation, is suffering through a lot of drama courtesy of an ex-boyfriend and a soon-to-be ex-husband. Why can’t we all just get along? Or at least not extort one another?
JWoww has been starring (along with most of her original and very tan roommates) on the latest version of the Jersey Shore, which shows the cast vacationing together in various locales, such as the Jersey Shore, Las Vegas, and Miami. I love watching how the more mature cast balances family, children, and partying. Call in the “Spiral Squad!”
According to an article from TMZ, Tom Lippolis was arrested on December 19 and charged with third-degree extortion. Thomas allegedly called JWoww’s publicist and warned that he would divulge some juicy secrets about her if he didn’t receive $25,000. When JWoww’s publicist told her of the situation, JWoww called the police.
JWoww told ET that she and Thomas “had dated for close to a year approximately ten years ago.” JWoww added, “I feel fortunate to have the support of law enforcement of this caliber by my side, which has thankfully kept me and my children safe from those who have sought to victimize me.” I am amazed that Tom was not deterred by the sheer size of her protective castmates (special shout out to Ronnie Ortiz-Magro!)
Sadly, JWoww filed for divorce from husband Roger Mathews in September. The duo has been romantically linked since 2010 and share two children together. Their daughter Meilani is 4 years old and their son Greyson is 2 years old. Roger also posted on Instagram, “I’m not done fighting. I’m gonna win my wife back.”

I am not sure what his chances are now since JWoww filed a restraining order against him on December 14. According to a story from TMZ, she filed for the order after her estranged spouse filmed her during an argument without her permission. The police later woke up a sleeping Roger early in the morning and removed him from the premises. He was not arrested. I sincerely hope that the New Year brings her some peace and a respite from all this relationship drama.
