Three episodes into Season 7 of Vanderpump Rules and it seems like Kristen Doute’s major storyline is her vendetta against ex-boyfriend James Kennedy. However, this is just the beginning of the season.
In an interview with Who, Kristen revealed, “Carter and I have a little bit of a bumpy summer. No cheating or anything like that, but we’ve been together for three-and-a-half years and definitely had issues I was almost choosing to not confront.”

She elaborated, “Like we’d have a fight at night and just ignore it the next morning, and it just became a pattern. All my wonderful girlfriends were like, ‘Look, you can’t hide this from the show. Because if you’re hiding it from the show, you’re really hiding it from your life.’ I’m not super-excited to watch that stuff, but I think it’s better for us in the long run.” What sort of issues though? And that is why this show is on Season 7. They know how to tease us just enough to keep us wanting more.
Kristen and Carter seem like a pretty solid couple, so I’m not worried. Not that I’m actually friends with these people, but I am in my head. The one cast relationship of Kristen’s that really fascinates me is her interaction with Lisa.
Pretty much every other cast member looks up to Lisa as a motherly figure, but Kristen is not one of those people. She explained, “We’re always going to be where we are. I don’t bite the hand that feeds me anymore, but I also just won’t kiss the ring.” Will we see any of this play out on the show?

That’s unclear, but Kristen did have an issue getting into Tom Tom over the summer. She revealed, “Lisa tried to keep me from there once this summer then after that, it’s like, “No, I know the owners! They’re my closest friends.” That sounds like an interesting storyline, but will we get to see any of this drama on Vanderpump Rules?
