How does a reality TV star react when she’s unhappy with her portrayal on TV? Blame the editing, of course. That’s been a go-to move for plenty of them. Now that Bristol Palin is on a Teen Mom, she’s not happy.
She accused Teen Mom of inaccurately portraying her life. She said she didn’t want to be some “fill-in Farrah Abraham.” Of course, Farrah caught wind of that and clapped right back.
Bristol shared a precious family photo on her Instagram page, but she didn’t leave it at that. Instead of a sweet message about her family, she went off against Teen Mom and MTV.
Bristol began, “If I cared what people thought of me, I wouldn’t be here today – let’s be real. I’ve stood strong and held it down for my kids since day one. No matter how bad @teenmom tries to portray my ‘life’ ….. my babies, my family, my close friends – they know the TRUTH. I’m a pretty great mom, work my ass off, show up, and hustle everyday to give my kids a pretty great life.”
She declared, “@mtv doesn’t want to talk about faith, show work ethic, or juggling three kids alone, they don’t want to show the humble process of starting over after a divorce, building a career, or any real life issues.”
Bristol went beyond biting the hand that feeds her. She brought Farrah into the conversation. Bristol claimed, “All they want with my little segment each week is some fake fill-in Farrah Abraham/Jerry Springer BS, and it’s simply not true. Don’t get me wrong – I’ve said some mean things and learned a lot the last several months – but the life I’ve built for my kids is NOT sitting around talking about baby daddy drama.”

She concluded, “Every week is a continued disappointment with their inaccuracies and false narratives. I hate getting all emo on you guys but I’ve kept quiet for too long about it. Don’t believe everything you see on TV.” But should we believe everything that we see on Instagram?
Farrah had some choice words in response to Bristol’s rant. She told TMZ, “She doesn’t matter to me. Nor does Teen Mom.” Yet, here we are.
Farrah said, “I left the Jerry Spring shit. The only thing Teen Mom and MTV used my name for was to get attention for the show. I’m not paid for the publicity of the show and I definitely don’t edit it. I think Bristol isn’t prepared to be on national television or on Teen Mom. [She doesn’t] understand production or TV. That’s why she brings my name into it, to blame someone who has nothing to do with it.” Was she blaming Farrah or blaming the editing?
Farrah had even more to say. She adamantly declared, “I’m an amazing mother. I don’t know about her. I hope she makes the best choices for her life. Maybe MTV and Teen Mom [are] just not the best choice.” Will they even ask Bristol back for another season after she publicly slammed the show?

Farrah said, “I wish her all the best. I think that she just wants to be a Farrah Abraham herself. The other women hate me and think the worst of me, but they only wish they could have what I have.” She concluded, “I don’t think she’s prepared for Teen Mom. She should just leave.” But will she?
