As much as things change on Real Housewives of New Jersey, a lot stays the same. Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga buried the hatchet two seasons ago. Now there’s tension again. In contrast, Dolores Catania and Margaret Josephs went from burying the hatchet to throwing some during the last episode. While the sisters-in-law have some some familial drama ahead, Dolores and Margaret are getting along better than ever. Will it last though?
It’s a great thing that Dolores and Margaret are finally cool. Just don’t say that to Danielle Staub. She is not on board with their new friendship. At all. During the last episode, she even asked Margaret, “What do you two really have in common? You cheated on your husband and she got cheated on?” Overreaction much?
Dolores discussed the last episode in a Bravo blog. She admitted, “Looking at how Margaret reacted to Danielle’s episode after telling her she was attending my hatchet throwing party, was truly eye-opening to the fact that Margaret seems to possess a strong sense of loyalty, and above all, respect for her individuality. I like that a lot.” Is a genuine friendship in the works? It just might be.
Dolores continued, “I don’t really mind the fact that she is friends with both me and Danielle. I mean, as Danielle said, ‘some people aren’t meant to be friends’ and I sure as hell am not looking to be friends with Danielle.” Neither is Margaret, but we didn’t get to that point in the season yet.

She shared, “I’m looking forward to what the future may hold for Margaret and I.” Maybe they can double team Danielle in a screaming match?
It’s all good in the hood with Dolores and Margaret, but the same can’t be said for Teresa and Melissa. Dolores explained, “As I see the potential for one relationship to be built, I also see the potential for another on the brink of crumbling.”
Dolores continued, “Since I’ve known Teresa and Melissa, they have always had a knack for fighting BAD, regarding something about Joe [Gorga].” Oh we know, Dolores. We all saw Seasons 3-6. Who could forget those arguments?
Dolores concluded, “Considering this matter involves Joe AND his father, I see something serious could be brewing. Next week is not something to miss, and it sure isn’t a trip I’ll forget.” Is it Wednesday yet? I just can’t wait to see them yelling at each other while wearing an excessive amount of flannel, cowboy hats, and denim.
