Just like the first two seasons of Real Housewives of Dallas, Season 3 is shaping up to focus on the LeeAnne Locken vs. Brandi Redmond feud. This time around, Brandi has LeeAnne’s ex-bestie D’Andra Simmons on her side and Brandi’s girl Stephanie Hollman is now friends with LeeAnne, i.e. she’s stuck in the middle.
Both LeeAnne and Brandi have done things wrong this season. Brandi joined D’Andra’s quest to question LeeAnne’s relationship with Rich Emberlin. In response, LeeAnne took things too far by accusing them of drinking too much, even calling Brandi an “alcoholic.” Yikes.
Now that Stephanie is stuck in the middle of LeeAnne and Brandi’s drama, it’s interesting to hear her take on it all. She had a lot to say about the last episode in a Bravo blog post.
Stephanie wrote, “For some reason the word ‘alcoholic’ is being passed around in this group like champagne at a party. Let’s be clear, no one in our circle of friends fits the true definition of an ‘alcoholic.’ I mean I told travis that I wanted to get ‘drunk and sloppy’ at our vow renewal. Does that mean I have a drinking problem? Absolutely not!”Exactly.
Stephanie continued, “My point here being that I don’t think LeeAnne is saying that Brandi is an alcoholic because she is genuinely concerned that she has a drinking problem, she is saying it because she is upset at Brandi for bringing up her marriage.” And now it’s tough for some viewers and cast members to side with LeeAnne’s genuine grievances since she threw out the word “alcoholic.”
Stephanie said, “I know that these ladies have their issues, but this is going a little too far, and the allegations that are being thrown around have no merit. I don’t like the conversations that are circulating around the group right now—ANY of them.” This is going to be a messy reunion, that’s for sure.

Stephanie said what most viewers were thinking during the last episode: “D’Andra’s cooking class looked fun, but I am thankful that I wasn’t there, because if I have to hear one more time about how ‘society’ doesn’t like someone or something, I am going to lose it!” Thank you, Stephanie. This Dallas society storyline is just so antiquated and annoying. Can they just argue about something else?
She declared, “I have said it before and I will say it again: We should not care about what such a small group of individuals think of us. If there is a group of people that want to judge me and tell me my worth based on their opinion of how I live my life, I have no interest in their opinion.”
Stephanie concluded, “I am proud of D’Andra for not conforming to society’s standards of who they think she should be.”
