Someone pass me the tissues. Jersey Shore star JWoww, aka Jenni Farley, filed for divorce from husband Roger Mathews after 3 years of marriage.
Jenni filed for divorced two weeks ago but the news of their split broke tonight. They have been together since 2010 and have two children, Meilani, 4, and Greyson, 2.
Roger confirmed the news in an instagram post and also revealed that he is not ready to throw in the towel by any means. He captioned it, “Praying for a better tomorrow. Sorry world, I’m taking a day off from praying for you today and I’m just gonna pray for my family. Hope springs eternal.”
In the accompanying video he confirmed the papers had been filed and revealed that it was nothing scandalous. “My wife filed for divorce, it’s true. I’m just gonna keep it simple. I don’t blame her. There’s no cheating or any dumb s–t, any juicy details. She just grew tired of the repetitive pattern that we fell into … again, I’m not gonna get into detail but it was a repetitive pattern and not a good one.”
He then shared his hope for a reconciliation. “I’m not done fighting, I’m gonna win my wife back. I’m gonna win her affection back, I’m gonna win her love back. I have no intention of being a single dad. We’re in counseling so there is hope. It ain’t over till the fat lady sings.”

I am rooting for these two so hard! If you follow Roger on instagram you know crazy in love he is with his wife and kids. We are sending him all of our positive thoughts!
Time will only tell if these two can work things out. Hopefully Jenni returning do more seasons of Jersey Shore in its current iteration didn’t put a strain on things for them.
Seriously, if you aren’t following Roger on instagram, you are missing out. If I could only follow ONE person for the rest of my days, it’d be him. He’s funny, brutally honest and real, down-to-earth and wickedly sarcastic at times, balanced with a whole lot of heart. Climbing down from my fangirl soapbox now.
