Gina Kirschenheiter Doesn’t Regret Slamming Vicki Gunvalson For Breaking Girl Code

Slowly but surely the newest Real Housewives of Orange County cast members are coming into the circle. Gina Kirschenheiter and Emily Simpson finally met all the women in the cast during the last episode and hopefully this means there are some juicy story lines on the horizon.

Of course Vicki Gunvalson and Kelly Dodd’s feud dominated the group gathering, but that didn’t stop Gina from sharing her opinion. She is making a name for herself on this show and she’s just saying what everyone else is thinking. Of course Vicki and Shannon Beador did not like the new girl sharing her thoughts she just met them, but she wasn’t saying anything that (most of) the viewers disagreed with. Vicki definitely broke girl code when she set up Kelly’s ex-husband with a friend and secretly went on double dates with them. There is no doubt about that.

Gina shared her first impressions of Shannon and Vicki in a Bravo blog post. The Long Island native wrote, “Shannon was pleasant enough. She talked a lot about what was going on in her life. I don’t really remember her asking me anything about my life.” Shannon never cares for or about the new girls. The lack of warmth and interest is not at all surprising.

Gina continued, “Vicki was nice. She was asking questions about where I lived and my background a bit. When Kelly brought up the issue between herself and Vicki, it was certainly off-putting. But it didn’t make me form an opinion of her overall. I wouldn’t make determinations about who people are and if I will like them based off of one situation. Seems small minded and immature. It does seem like Vicki may have already made her mind up about me, though. Interesting…” It’s really not you, Gina. Vicki very rarely likes the new girl. The only reason she took to Kelly during Kelly’s rookie season was because her back was against the wall and no one wanted to be friends with her after that cancer scam. Or maybe that’s just a coincidence?

Gina Kirschenheiter Thinks Vicki Gunvalson Was In The Wrong For Keeping Secrets From Kelly Dodd

Did Gina regret chiming in on Kelly and Vicki’s dispute? She admitted, “Not at all. I don’t feel I should have to regret showing up to a table of women and weighing in on a group discussion. If you don’t agree with my opinion, that’s totally fine, but I’m entitled to it.” Plus this is a reality TV show. The women are literally paid to talk about each other’s lives.

Gina continued, “Since when is being an opinionated woman a bad thing?? I didn’t realize I was supposed to show up to this dinner in an apron and silently vacuum around their feet like a 1920s housewife. My bad.”

She shared, “I’m raising my daughter to know her opinion matters. Her opinion is strength. Her opinion is power. If it was Vicki’s opinion that I should shut up and stay out of it, she should have told me right there at the table. I probably would have listened, and I certainly would have respected her more for telling me her opinion to my face. But hey, that’s just my opinion.” Am I the only one who read that last part channeling Tamra Judge yelling “That’s my opinion”?

TELL US- IS GINA A GOOD FIT FOR THE SHOW? WAS IT OK FOR GINA TO SHARE HER OPINION ON KELLY & VICKI’S DISPUTE? CAN SHANNON & VICKI BE MORE WELCOMING OF NEW CAST MEMBERS? OR WERE THEY JUST TAKING THEIR TIME GETTING TO KNOW GINA AND EMILY?
