Season 12 of Real Housewives of Orange County ended with Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge making peace with Vicki Gunvalson during a group hug. Three episodes into Season 13, Shannon and Tamra are comfortable enough to give Vicki unsolicited relationship advice during a drunk heart to heart.
They theorized that Steve Lodge might not be the one for Vicki– based on zero evidence. That’s really not a great move to make after recently reconciling with someone, but it was much more interesting to watch than anything last season. At least Shannon and Tamra are talking to Vicki this year.
Shannon reflected on the last episode in a Bravo blog post. She admitted, “I absolutely regret saying what I did about Steve. At this point, I have only interacted with him twice, and that was a few years ago.”

Shannon explained where she was coming from in that moment: “Through my 15-tequilas haze and slurred words, I was reminded of a conversation Vicki and I had in Ireland two years ago about Brooks [Ayers] being her soul mate. She had literally just met Steve at the time. I regret voicing an opinion about a subject I really had no knowledge of.”
The Orange County Housewife insisted, “I truly like Steve and think he is an amazing partner for Vicki.”
On a more lighthearted note, Shannon, Tamra, and Vicki had a fun time during their girls trip in Mexico. What happens in Mexico doesn’t stay in Mexico though- especially when filming a reality TV show. Shannon admitted, “Watching back the ugly parts of a boozy night is uncomfortable and not the most fun.”
She added, “But at the same time, I laughed out loud as I was reminded of some of the events of the trip. And there are many more that I hope people can see in the future. I am grateful that my two friends joined me in Mexico and we acted like 21-year-olds. We all needed some fun and a big dose of crazy. We absolutely got that.” And the viewers needed that as well. Thankfully this show is actually enjoyable to watch again!
