Kyle Richards Doesn’t Want Beverly Hills Housewives On “American Woman,” But She Would Hire Harry Hamlin

During the last couple seasons of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle Richards has been discussing her work on her scripted series American Woman. The show is loosely based on her childhood, which did not sit well with some of her family members at first.

The show is finally here and after seasons of discussing it on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle showed the Housewives the premiere during the Season 8 finale. So would Kyle have any of the Housewives on her scripted show? There’s no chance. She’s not even going to appear in front of the camera. Nevertheless, one of the Real Husbands might be asked to appear on a future season.

During an interview with E! News, Kyle revealed why Lisa Rinna’s husband Harry Hamlin is the only person associated with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills that she would invite to appear on American Woman.

She explained, “Better Harry to be on the show because I don’t want a Housewives distraction.” Fair enough. It makes sense to use the Housewives platform to promote the show, but if she does want it to have some legitimate success, she can’t just lean on the reality TV franchise.

Kyle added, “It actually came up about me doing a cameo, like, walking in the background. I said, ‘No, I don’t want to do that.’ I don’t want to take out of the moment and distract people. But Harry would be a good one to be on American Woman.” And maybe they could film some behind-the-scenes footage for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?
