Even though she is still at an early point in her pregnancy, Kenya Moore did end up revealing her pregnancy when she was asked about it by Andy Cohen during the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion.
It seemed like something he was bound to ask her about, but she didn’t expect him to ask about it right from the jump.
In an interview with People, Kenya admitted, “It’s not anything that I planned or even meant to say.” She continued, “It was the first thing [host Andy Cohen] asked me, and I was really thrown off guard. The reunion usually goes on for 16 hours, so I figured it might come up. But not that soon. I felt stuck!”
The article also confirmed that Kenya and her husband Marc Daly conceived the baby via in-vitro fertilization.
Even though Kenya didn’t plan to share her big news at the reunion, she made the best of it. She explained, “I’ve waited 47 years for this moment.” She added, “I didn’t really want to announce it too soon because I feel it’s very early on in our pregnancy. But I have suffered so much in my life when it comes to wanting a family around me. So this is the day I’ve been waiting for my entire life. It’s a dream come true.”
