Erika Girardi Defends Herself After Leaving Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave’s Beach House For A Hotel

During the last episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Dorit Kemsley broke the news to Erika Girardi that the rest of the cast started talk shit about her as soon as she left Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave’s beach house. In all honesty, the shit talking isn’t news, but Erika was not going to stand for it.

The women took issue with Erika after she picked a room to sleep in at the beach house, but didn’t end up staying over. It was Erika’s time of the month and she wanted to deal with that privately. When she returned in the morning, the women accused Erika of having this all planned out and Kyle Richards referred to her behavior as “weird” multiple times.

Erika shared her point of view in a Bravo blog post. She started out strong with, “Since so much has been said about my ‘weird’ behavior at the beach house, I thought you should know the facts.”

She continued, “I got in the car at LVP’s at noon already not feeling well and drove down to Dana Point and had all intentions to stay at Teddi’s beach house overnight, even though Tom was recovering from surgery and still wasn’t walking.”

Erika shot down accusations that she purposely waited until the camera crew left before she peaced out: “We filmed all day. Cameras went down at midnight, I was beyond exhausted and knowing the girls wanted to drink and have a good time, I decided to get a room at the nearest hotel so I could clean up and rest without worrying about messing up anything at Teddi’s.” She added, “Sue me for being considerate…”

She recapped, “I came back in the morning like I said I would to find myself getting judged, and instead of asking me how I am feeling, I get told I am weird and sneaky.” Considering that there is pretty much nothing else happening this season, it’s not surprising that Dorit jumped all over this one. Say what you want about Dorit, but she is the only one making these story lines happen this season. They are lame story lines (for the most part), but they are story lines nonetheless. Otherwise we would be subjected to home renovations, glam squad sessions, and shameless self-promotion for the whole season.

Erika stated, “Forget who the messenger was, the fact is the women were talking sh– about me, and I found out. That doesn’t diminish what they said about me or how they really feel about me. Very revealing…” It’s also very revealing when it comes to this season and where this show stands in general. Did Real Housewives of Beverly Hills jump the shark?

Erika wrote, “Like I said at dinner in NYC, I know the truth and will continue to be me. In the future, I will not be extending any sort of understanding or sympathy to anyone that could not sympathize with me.” The only women who seemed to sympathize with Erika were Lisa Rinna (of course) and Dorit (oddly enough), so it will (hopefully) be interesting to see how Erika interacts with the rest of the cast from this point on.

She concluded, “Oh and the ONLY thing I was ‘pretending’ was trying to get through the day with a smile when I would of rather been at home in my own bed doubled over in pain.”

TELL US- WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON: ERIKA’S OR TEDDI’S? WAS DORIT LOOKING OUT FOR ERIKA WHEN SHE TOLD HER WHAT THE OTHER WOMEN SAID? OR WAS SHE TRYING TO STIR THE POT? DID ERIKA “PLAN” HER EXIT OR DID SHE LEAVE AT THE LAST MINUTE?
