That last episode of Vanderpump Rules was pretty absurd. After being thick as thieves for many years, Lala Kent and James Kennedy got into a screaming match after Lala said that she ate his girlfriend Raquel Leviss’s pasta while he was DJing. Yes, you read that sentence correctly. That actually did happen.
Then things escalated when James told Lala that she “has sex with a fat man to pay her rent.” At this point we all know that he is referencing Lala’s recently revealed boyfriend Randall Emmett, but he did say this during a time when she was much more secretive about their relationship. After watching the episode, Lala announced the end of their friendship on social media, which was news to James, who apparently had no idea.
Lala tweeted a screen shot from a note she wrote. She explained, “Tonight’s episode is nothing short of cringe worthy. James has always been a dear friend of mine. I make sure I baby him, I make sure he always knows I’m proud of him, and I’ve been nothing but kind to his girlfriend. I don’t need to say this, because it’s been seen since the beginning. I am constantly forgiving for whatever venomous words he decides to throw at me.”
Lala continued, “I remember the day that he attacked the person I love the most. The person that is my human. My everything. The one I would die for, and live to protect. I let it slide for some reason…. maybe out of shock. After re-watching it, reliving it, and then dealing with this constant attack’s on a regular basis, I’m sadly mourning the loss of our friendship.”
Damn. So they made up after that, but watching the episode months later made her end the friendship. I wonder how long this going to last? Apparently James is wondering the same thing since he posted a screen shot from a lengthy note of his own on Twitter.
Of course he made sure to throw in the #pumprules before posting his note. James wrote, “Woke up today totally blindsided by Lala telling me she is distancing herself from me and isn’t celebrating my bday with me. I find it very hypocritical for her to constantly pretend like she’s best friends with Katie and Kristen, who have done nothing but talk shit about her and her man for 2 years, but god forbid I let [my] temper get the best of me and she decides she needs to publicly bash me. Lala will always be a special person to me and maybe we can talk just the 2 of us instead of blasting me on twitter.”
TELL US – DO YOU THINK IT IS VALID FOR LALA TO END HER FRIENDSHIP WITH JAMES? OR IS SHE EXAGGERATING? WILL LALA & JAMES MAKE UP OR IS THIS TRULY THE END OF THEIR FRIENDSHIP?
