In honor of the premieres of Married to Medicine and Real Housewives of Atlanta, Dr. Jackie Walters and Kandi Burruss were Andy’s guests on Watch What Happens Live tonight.
Kandi agrees that Kenya should’ve waited to have the housewarming party. She also shares that she is glad Sheree Whitfield‘s back. “Yes, I love Sheree. The shade and the reads are serious with Sheree, but I never wanted her to leave in the first place. So, I was kind of sad when she went and I’m glad to see her come back.”
A viewer asks Kandi if she thinks Kenya and Matt have what it takes to make a relationship work? “I don’t want to hate on anybody else’s relationship. It’s just kind of hard for me when there has been some violence there. The jury’s still out for me.” She adds, “he’s a nice guy, but some of the things he did, busting out windows and stuff, it’s a little too much.”
On a scale of 1-10, how tacky did Jackie think Lisa Nicole‘s party was? “8.9.”
What’s the status of Kandi’s relationship with Phaedra? “We’re not necessarily in a great place. We can be cordial and be in the same room at the same time, but we’re not friends.” Andy comments that it continues right up to the end of the season and Kandi says, “I felt like she had something to do with a particular situation.”
Kandi says she’d be more apt to buy Chateau Sheree because Moore Manor is more modern and it’s not completely her style. Andy comments that Chateau seems huge. Kandi says she’d like something in between the two. “If I could get something right in the middle of the two. I like Moore Manor, I think it’s a really pretty house, but I love Sheree’s bathroom and her closet is amazing.”
Has Todd visited Apollo in prison? “No, they never visit, but they do email all the time.”
Jackie on finding out Toya owed so much money, “I had a loss for words. I think I would’ve just fainted. $170,000 to the IRS? Oh my God. Toya needs a job. Toya needs three jobs.”
What does Kandi think about Cynthia stating there was no infidelity in her marriage to Peter Thomas? Kandi says that nobody has ever come forward to claim they were with Peter or show receipts.
Has Kandi noticed a change for the better in Porsha Williams since she started anger management counseling? Kandi bursts out laughing. “I think Porsha does things for the fans. She just puts on these images to try to fool the fans and it’s totally different.” She adds, “me personally, I doubt she went to see that guy anymore than when the cameras was there. I’m just keeping it real. I don’t think so.”
Andy asks if there’s a chance for another baby for Kandi. Dr. Jackie answers for her with “yes.” Kandi then admits they’ve thought about, “but I don’t know. There’s so much going on right now. I think I would have to have at least a year between them.” Jackie reminds her that it’s almost been a year. January will be Ace’s first birthday.
Is Kandi nervous to open this new restaurant after seeing what going into business together did to Cynthia and Peter‘s relationship? “Yeah, I am. Hearing Peter and Cynthia talk about how the business was really the real problem in the relationship. I tell Todd, ‘We cannot allow this restaurant to come in between us. Not to put more into the business than we do each other.’ We both have strong personalities.”
A caller asks Dr. Jackie why Dr. Simone went off on Quad at the party? And how is whether or not Quad wants a baby Dr. Simone’s battle? “A great question. #1, Dr. Simone is Quad’s doctor, so I’m sure it’s a little deeper than what you saw. And Cecil said it best, Simone goes from zero to 1,000 in .5 seconds.”
On another subject, what color is Kandi’s dress?? In the photo it’s hot pink but on TV it was a red-red. I am partial to the pink, but Kandi looked amazing no matter what color it really was.
