According to reports Teresa Giudice does not want to dance with the C-list stars. Right… Sources say ABC execs were heavily courting Teresa to be the Real Housewives representative for the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars, which is casting now, but the Real Housewives Of New Jersey star turned down the opportunity.

The next season of DWTS begins filming this spring, but following her release from prison Teresa wants to stay close to home for her girls – especially since Joe Giudice leaves for prison in the next few days.
Even the significant paycheck couldn’t change Teresa’s mind! “Teresa was offered a six-figure sum, but she decided against it,” a source tells Page Six. “She feels that she needs to spend time with her family and be there for her children right now.”
Teresa, who was just released from house arrest, is currently filming Real Housewives Of New Jersey and focusing on the release of her memoir, Turning The Tables, which hits stores February 9th. The very same day Teresa makes her first public appearance with a Good Morning America sit-down.
In an instagram message to fans, Teresa thanks them for their support and gushed abut the “tough” process of writing her book – which she hopes everyone will buy and love, love, love!
“Hey guys! Wanted to let you all know that my New book will be released on February 9th! I’m very excited for all of you to read it! It was a tough book to write but it’s real and it’s from my heart, ” wrote Teresa. “I appreciate all the love and support through the ups & downs as you guys have kept me strong I’m very grateful! love love love …love you all!”
Well, I don’t believe for one bit that Teresa turned down Dancing With The Stars. I think she’s either trying to drum up PR spin to get cast for DWTS (or negotiate with ABC for more money), or she’s already signed on, but they’re trying to keep it secret to maximize the WOW! factor.
I do believe Teresa would be a big boon for Dancing With The Stars, which has struggled in ratings the last couple seasons. Teresa, love her or hate her, evokes a response and people are curious about her. But, if Teresa truly isn’t interested, I’m sure Melissa Gorga would swoop right in and volunteer herself!
