Well, what do you know!?! VH1 is finally getting a clue when it comes to drawn out series. Has the network finally realized that sometimes it’s better to end a show when the drama fades than to try to recreate manufactured drama with an old cast by bringing in newbies? No, I’m not talking about the Love & Hip Hop franchise…
The sixth season of Mob Wives is set to premiere in January, but fans of the show will have to get their fill of Renee Graziano, Karen Gravano, Drita D’avanzo, Carla Facciolo, and everyone’s favorite, Big Ang, as this will be the ladies’ last hurrah.

According to MSN, this will be the final season of the show, and it is aptly titled The Last Stand. Admittedly, the ladies, with the exception of a few, have gotten less violent over the years, trading smashing either’s faces with new business ventures. As Mob Wives has progressed, the focus has become more on their individual lives and less on how they interact with each other.
While they still hate rats and the police, even the once most mortal of enemies, like Karen and Drita or Renee and everyone ;), can remain in the same room without needing security (well, at least most of the time). When the series returns next month, the original crew will be back together, with one newbie thrown in the mix. Brittany, the daughter of gangster John Fogarty, will be joining the women after moving to the East Coast. Which lady do you think is going to have the most difficulty opening their circle to an outsider?
I’ve actually grown fond of this crew over the last five seasons, so I’m not going to lie…I’ll miss them. I so want Big Ang to be my friend in real life!
