VH1 has announced the cast for Couples Therapy season 6.
The next round of celebrity-ish couples looking for help from Dr Jenn Berman Mann will be Mob Wives stars Big Ang and Neil Murphy, Creed frontman Scott Stapp and Jaclyn Stapp, RuPaul’s Drag Race‘s Carmen Carrera and Adrian Torres, former Love & Hip Hop star Joe Budden and Kaylin Garcia, and Janice Dickinson and Robert “Rocky” Gerner.
I am shocked to see Scott Stapp‘s name on the list so soon after his psychotic break and subsequent diagnosis of bipolar disorder. I wish nothing but the best for Scott and Jaclyn but I personally don’t think a reality show (at least not this show with this doctor) is a healthy environment for him right now.

LOS ANGELES, CA – (May 29, 2015) – “VH1 Couples Therapy with Dr. Jenn returns this fall with five all-new couples seeking counseling hoping to discover whether or not their relationships can overcome past hardships. With the pressure of living in the spotlight and constantly having their relationships scrutinized by the media, the series continues to shed light on the complicated and often misunderstood world of high-profile relationships. The sixth season of VH1 Couples Therapy with Dr. Jenn returns in Fall 2015.
In season six of VH1 Couples Therapy with Dr. Jenn, each couple is facing unique problems — some of their issues center on having every detail of their relationship in the public eye and blown out of proportion. This season’s couples who have scheduled time on the couch with Dr. Jenn Mann are: Mob Wives fan-favorite Angela “Big Ang” Raiola and Neil Murphy, Creed’s front man Scott Stapp and Jaclyn Stapp, model/actress Carmen Carrera and Adrian Torres, model/TV personality Janice Dickinson and Robert “Rocky” Gerner, and hip-hop star Joe Budden and Kaylin Garcia.
From the producers of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, VH1 Couples Therapy with Dr. Jenn features five couples at a crossroads in their relationships as they undergo three weeks of intensive relationship therapy. Under the guidance of Dr. Jenn Mann, a nationally renowned relationship therapist, the couples will participate in group and individual therapy along with relationship exercises out in the “real world” to see if they can rekindle the love they used to have for one another — or if it’s time for them to go their separate ways.”
I’m not feeling this cast. If you had asked me a couple months ago, I would have bet some money on either Jenelle Evans or Leah Calvert‘s name being announced. I guess there’s no hope for Jenelle and Nathan (beyond crossing paths in county jail) at this point and rumor has it that MTV has forced Leah into rehab. As it stands, the only draw for me is Big Ang, but I don’t know if that draw is strong enough to make me want to sit through Dr. Jenn‘s nonsense.
In “oh this is off to a fantastic start” news, there’s currently a bench warrant out for Joe Budden. Late last summer, Joe allegedly choked and beat his now ex-girlfriend, Audely Robles, after he came across pictures of her with another man. Joe denied her claim but failed to show up to the hearing on Thursday.
