Meri Brown just celebrated her 25th wedding anniversary to Kody Brown, but instead of partaking in the rest of family’s jubilation over the milestone, she’s posting cryptic messages on social media about pain ending, joy coming, being a fighter, and finally seeing the light. Hmmm… I’m sensing that someone isn’t feeling the love. I’m also feeling that everyone else is trying to pretend it’s all fiiinne!
Meri’s barrage of escape and freedom-themed social media posts have us all wondering is she leaving Kody, the family, and Sister Wives!? Let’s hope!
Kody and Meri divorced in February, but to the public insisted the split was more about finances and logistics than it was about a lack of love. Her fellow sister wives insisted Kody and Meri remained “spiritually” connected.

Meri is Kody’s first (and only legal) wife but with their daughter now being an adult Meri has increasingly distanced herself from her husband, and sister wives. Meri also seemed to have an extremely difficult time accepting Kody’s fourth marriage to the much younger and more gullible Robyn, whom Kody legally divorced Meri in order to make Robyn’s children from a previous marriage eligible for Kody’s health insurance. At least that was the official Sister Wives storyline.

“Recently got off an over 2 hour phone call with a good friend. So good to open up with each other about so much ‘stuff’!,” Meri tweeted over the weekend. She added, “When in doubt, just believe.”
Meanwhile Kody tweeted, “Happy 25th anniversary @MeriBrown1 !! Let’s find all the magic we can in 25 more. I love you! #meri&kodysilver ” Yeah, one of these things is not like the others… Meri did not respond to any of Kody’s anniversary tweets, nor did she retweet them. Oops.
