Scott Disick Checks into Rehab Again, Plans to Ingest Herbs to Get Sober! Is He Getting Paid To Do It?

Scott Disick

The Douche Lord has spoken, and He sayeth the way to sobriety is through eating herbs. Yes, herbs. Sort of.  Scott Disick is checking into Rythmia Life Advancement Center in Costa Rica today for another stint in rehab. Not just any old rehab, but a rehab that promises sober living by asking its patients to ingest the African psychedelic shrub Iboga “to send patients on a vision quest,” according to TMZ.

TMZ reports that Scott Disick had one hot mess of a weekend in Atlantic City, where he did…you know…what Scott does best: multiple tequila shots, a bit of stumbling around without shoes in public, and eventually going missing from his room at 5am. In a press release Scott said, “I realize my issues are bigger than me and I’m ready to truly remedy this struggle I continue to battle.”

Earlier this month, Scott was accused of ditching club appearances. Which begs the existential question: should a club be happier when Scott shows up or when he doesn’t? Hmmmm. Let’s reflect on that.

SCOTT DISICK REPORTEDLY BLASTED FOR DITCHING CLUB APPEARANCES!

As for the specifics of Scott’s treatment, it will include “Iboga flights” which “are supposed to force users to examine their inner selves so they can learn what triggers their addictions,” says TMZ.  A shaman also oversees the entire process, so it’s totally legit. And obviously well researched. <side eye>

Some sources are questioning the timing of Scott’s rehab news, given that it comes just a day after the new season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians aired its premiere. The Santa Cruz Sentinal reports that an insider claims Scott is even being paid big money to endorse the facility. “He is 100,000 percent getting paid (by the facility),” said the insider. “He’s pulling down big dollars on this one. I heard mid-six figures.”

The facility itself, Rhythmia, includes a “‘luxurious world-class experience’ including a five-star restaurant, full-service spa with mud bath, and fitness center.” Treatment could take several weeks, but given Scott’s former stints in rehab, I’m sure he’ll be *cured* in a few days. That time frame seems to have worked wonders for him in the past!
