After nearly a decade off the air, The Osbournes is coming back to TV. The wildly popular and Emmy award winning reality TV series originally aired March 2002 through March 2005 on MTV.
Sharon Osbourne announced the news on The Talk. “It’s not as much coming back as a proper series [but] as an update,” she said. “At most there’ll be only six to eight episodes. It’s a catch up on our lives and where we are now.”

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne will be front and center – of course – and Sharon confirmed that their son, Jack Osbourne, and his family, wife Lisa Stelly and daughter Pearl, will participate. “It has been so long since we’ve been seen as a family and our family has grown. We have a grand-daughter and a gorgeous daughter-in-law.”
I assume the update will include Kelly Osbourne and her purple hair as well.
Sharon also revealed that we have Ozzy to thank for the show’s return. “It was all my husband’s doing because he looked back on his life and he said, ‘I wish we could have done The Osbournes now where I am clean and sober.’ So much to talk about… Ozzy is coming up with his last tour with Black Sabbath.”
Neither a network nor an expected premiere date was mentioned. So. We wait.
