While on a break from all of the drama of the Real Housewives of Orange County, Vicki Gunvalson was becoming an honorary citizen of Tupelo, Mississippi.

Never one to miss a great PR moment, Vicki accepted this gracious honor with humility. Ready to use her celebrity status for good, Gunvalson enthusiastically toured the town with Ayers – I thought these two were dunzo?? — by her side.
While accepting the key, Vicki said that she “was looking forward to visiting again very soon.” We all know that Vicki is not just a Housewife. She is a successful insurance agent, author and grandma, and apparently that is what you need to inspire a city. Stating their appreciation for her “efforts to promote the city of Tupelo”, Mayor Jason Shelton gushed as Gunvalson smiled for the camera.
OK, so maybe I have not been paying attention, but the only time I have heard Vicki gush about “the South” was two season ago on the Real Housewives of Orange County when she had all of the housewives over for a crawfish boil that did not go over well.
I am thinking Brooks had something to do with this. You know that guy loves any opportunity to show off his ATM machine girlfriend, Vicki. Oh, well, congrats Vicki!
