Anna Cardwell is done defending her mother Mama June! A betrayed Anna confirms June is with Mark McDaniel, and that June still does not believe Anna that Mark molested her when she was just 8-years-old. As a result Anna is severing her contact with her mother but wants to do what she can to protect her younger sisters.
The horrifying saga of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo matriarch Mama June dating the man who molested her daughter Anna becomes increasingly disturbing. After initially believing her mother would never have anything to do with the man who spent 10 years in prison for molesting her, Anna reveals she confronted her mother about the dangers of Mark being around her younger sisters, particularly Alana Thompson who is 9-years-old. Anna was 8 when Mark molested her.
Anna told June, “‘You know, he’s a child molester, Mama. He did this to me. Why would you let him come around the girls knowing what he did? And reportedly done it to another girl? And Mama was like, ‘Oh, he never done it to another girl.'” Anna confronted June with her concerns about him being near hear younger sisters Jessica, Lauren, and Alana. Lauren “Pumpkin” had witnessed Mark’s abuse against Anna when she was only 3-years-old.

“Mama’s not supposed to be around him!” a disgusted, and sobbing, Anna added. “She just knows! And she let him get around ‘Lana and Pumpkin!”
“I worry about them now knowing that he’s been around. … I’ve told people that the only thing I would say for Alana is if Mama is around him, don’t get too close, don’t get too attached, don’t be all lovey-dovey on him, because you never know what will happen,” Anna advised her little sister. Anna was sobbing throughout the entire interview.
June also doesn’t worry about losing her other kids because of Mark! “I talked to Mama the other day and Mama said, ‘If my kids are taken away, there’s going to be hell to pay,'” Anna recounts.
Anna told Entertainment Tonight that she recently tried to discuss her feelings about June’s re-involvement with Mark, but June is only concerned with her own happiness! “It’s like she’s happy. She’s smiling and giggling when he’s around,” Anna reveals.
Anna states that June still doesn’t believe her that the abuse happened, and that is why she is back together with Mark! “She never told me she believes me. She never said, ‘Hey Anna, I’m sorry for not believing you and I still don’t believe you to this day,'” Anna shockingly revealed. June continues to insist protecting her kids is her number one priority.
Anna has now distanced herself from June. “It’s Mama’s fault. She has to live with it. She has brung the past back and now she can’t get it away,” Anna says. “I’m mad. I’m upset. I feel betrayed. I feel very hurt. That’s the main thing that I am — I feel very hurt that Mama let him come around.”
Poor Anna – this is BEYOND despicable! TLC has promised to provide counseling for Anna and all of the HBB children.
