While I am beyond thankful that Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy have finally come to a custody agreement regarding daughter Bryn, there seems to be no end in sight when it comes to finalizing their divorce. I am not at all shocked, as it seems these two are out for blood. Yawn.
The pair first filed for divorce in January of 2013, so it's been well over a year that these two have been fighting. The alleged main issue? Jason wanting a pretty penny for helping build Bethenny's Skinnygirl empire.

It should be noted that divorcing someone with Bethenny's means (ie, she can afford to tie up the family court system as long as she pleases thanks to practically infinite funds) is bound to get pretty pricey for even a successful pharmaceutical sales executive like Jason. It should also be noted that when I first read this In Touch article, I thought it said "Jason Hoppy Hires an Investigator." I thought this was a bit strange. What would he need to investigate? The tabloids do it for him!
Alas, I'm a dolt who can't read because, according to the site, Jason has reportedly hired an investor, not an investigator. It's amazing what three little letters can do!
In Touch is reporting that Jason has enlisted an investor to help bankroll his legal battle. Jason is apparently asking for a cool $10 million from Bethenny for aiding her in her Skinnygirl launch. That kind of seems like a lot of money to me, but some may say he earned every penny.
A legal expert explains, “It’s like a loan, in exchange for a stake in the outcome,” adding, “The investor gets a percentage, but it’s worth it.” I think Bethenny would beg to differ…
