Another day… another head scratching interview with Farrah Abraham…
Today, Farrah tells us why she outshines all other porn stars, forgets a major detail about the main character in her erotic trilogy, and gives us a glimpse of what to expect from book one, Celebrity Sex Tape: In The Making.
Farrah hates being called a porn star – poor thing – so she feels the need to explain to us regular folk the difference between a sex tape and a porn. "I think people purposely don't know how to separate a celebrity sex tape and a regular porn. I mean, I have wonderful friends who are in the adult industry. They make porn for a living – that is what they always do. Like, payment is different. Like, living your life is different. Taking care of yourself. Everything is different."

"Many people won't ever see [regular porn] and they won't ever know about it," continues Farrah. "But, for a celebrity sex tape, as we all are aware of, millions of people will watch it and you get way more [backlash]. You are more known for it and there is just a more compelling something. A celebrity sex tape outshines any other porn star and any other person who makes porn. Lots of my friends make sex tapes. They can't say, 'Oh my God, I made a celebrity sex tape,' and nobody even knows about it. So there's a huge difference and that's just what society made of it. It's not me, I do not make these definitions, it's just obvious."
About her claims that her sex tape, Backdoor Teen Mom, ruined her life and that she was drugged and raped while promoting it at porn conventions, Farrah says, "I mean I personally would not name names and other things I had to deal with after that article came out. I probably shouldn't be talking about it. But, like, there is a lot of that. That goes on in clubs and a lot of celebrities deal with things like that. That's really sad."
Farrah fails to explain why she chose to promote sex toys and write an erotic trilogy if she doesn't want to be associated with the porn industry. "I'll just let people think what they would like to think and that's fine because it really doesn't infringe upon my life. I just know I do not go around and have sex and make more movies."
Speaking of her erotic trilogy, Farrah doesn't seem to remember a major detail about Celebrity Sex Tape's main character, Fallon Opal. Farrah stresses how "Farrah" and "Fallon" are "way different". When asked to elaborate on the differences, Farrah says Fallon isn't a reality TV star and doesn't have a child. Huh? She's not a reality TV star? In April, Farrah said, “Fallon’s story follows what I’ve gone through recently, much of it witnessed and misunderstood by the public. Book One is an entertaining and sexually charged novel, but it is also an inside look at the underside of being a reality TV star.”
Jezebel read an advance copy of Celebrity Sex Tape: In The Making – poor things – and shared the story behind Fallon Opal's sex tape:
"Fallon Opal has been hit with a $100,000 bill from the IRS for unpaid taxes stemming from her work on a TV show when she was in high school. Fallon's shady agent comes up with a scheme for a celebrity sex tape. She tells Fallon, 'Kim K, Paris, there's a precedent for this kind of thing. No one knew who they were before they did their tapes, and not they're sitting on an empire that makes them millions.' The book gives every detail about the behind-the-scenes machinations of staging a leak of Backdoor Teen Mom – if she did it, that is. There is even a subplot of Fallon landing a gig on a celebrity couples show even though Fallon is single."
Jezebel's Tracie Egan Morrissey and Rich Juzwiak taped a recent chat with Farrah and shared an excerpt of Celebrity Sex Tape. Highlights from their chat:
Farrah's thoughts on slut shaming: "I don't think I'm a slut, but I do have shame when it comes to talking about my sex life because others will think of it as they will." Tracie explains to Farrah that slut shaming is more about others projecting their feelings and judgments onto her. Farrah doesn't understand.
Did Farrah write Celebrity Sex Tape? I mean, seriously!?! "I write it by myself and I have some editors that help me remember that spelling is important."
Farrah's favorite author: "I try not to play favorites or idolize or anything like that, but I will say my favorite book that I read is about Helen Keller, her memoir. I know she's like deaf, blind, whatever, but she's pretty inspirational."
Out of nowhere, Farrah checks on her eyelashes with a mirror and says, "I'm a little obsessed with myself." Rich asks, "Are you a narcissist?" Farrah says, "No, but I think it's very cool that I have to play these different parts."
With a smirk on his face, Rich asks, "Are you a feminist?" Farrah responds, "For women? Yes. I kind of feel like most women who call themselves feminists though kinda aren't for women. Like, Bethenny Frankel." Tracie asks Farrah to elaborate. "I don't know. If you don't pay attention to her then I'm not going to bring attention to her. She wasn't really for sex toys or anything so I really don't know what's going on with her."
Rich reads a line from Farrah's book – "Fame is a double edged sword that thinks it's a curling iron." – and asks Farrah to explain what it means. "I was so girly with that I guess cause I don't use a curling iron. I think it's a double edged sword, like, it's sometimes good, sometimes bad, and then it heats up. I think it's for your own interpretation. You're not going to understand how I feel about it. I write things and I think of it in my head more serious and some people might be light. I don't know, so don't take my word for it."
As you know, Farrah put her own picture on the cover of Celebrity Sex Tape: In The Making. We learn that there are pictures of her throughout the book as well. "Some of my friends, authors that I know, have used themselves as their characters for their stuff. There's this whole thing of finding men for just the parts that I wanted which was overwhelming. But I was like why don't I just play it? So yeah I did. Whether that adds more controversy of is this more closer to Farrah's real life or not, good for the public."
Rich tells Farrah that he digs her "f–k you" attitude when it comes to the public, to which she says, "I don't really say f–k you, but I'm sure you may want to f–k other people after reading my writing." HAHA, if this bat story is any indication, I'm going to guess not so much.
