Preach it NeNe, preach it! Our favorite (okay, and for some not-so-favorite) Atlanta peach took to her blog recently to give us her views on season six of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Just for a quick recap, this is the season that included, shade thrown every which way, one housewife assaulting another one, the death of a beloved dog and the end of besties NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey.
So what did NeNe have to say about this season? Well, let's just say she is definitely being truthful, by calling it 'entertaining' but 'sad and negative at times.' Although NeNe did not mention any housewives by name, I am here to help read between the lines.

I don't think anyone was surprised by the way that Kenya Moore came at NeNe — or anyone for that matter — at the reunion. I can only assume that this tidbit from NeNe's blog is blog is directed at Ms. Moore, "I found myself working with women who lie, try to steal husbands, friends, buy boyfriends and cry with lawn mower voices! Wow what people will do for 2 dollars and 50 cents! All this became so draining to me!"
I actually agree with Apollo Nida, she needs a storyline for next season. Or maybe she can just find another imaginary boyfriend.
As for her friendship with Cynthia, I do not see a resolution to their feud anytime soon, even though I still do not grasp what they are fighting about. "Although I found this season to be draining, I actually learned a lot! I learned that TV friendships are just made for TV so thank God I have real friends! I learned that snakes are no longer in the grass, they are on TV and in designer clothing! I learned that no matter how successful I become, I will always have critics amongst this group of women!"
NeNe has never been one to back down from what she says in her taped interviews or in person and she is not going to change anytime soon, "Look I am definitely a straight shooter with no chaser! I give it to you direct! No harm intended and I don’t apologize just for the sake of it! If I believe in something strongly I don’t see the need to! I tend to say what many are thinking and I just don’t practice lying! I am all about a good shade-throwing moment, but throwing fists as grown women is crazy to me!"
Yes, the Porsha/Kenya brawl was crazy and I do not think anyone saw it coming, but NeNe has also said on previous blog entries that Porsha was definitely provoked. But provoked or not, putting your hands on someone else is not necessary….even if it is Kenya.
Season 6 is a wrap and NeNe definitely has some fun projects in the works. Check her out performing with Cirque Du Soleil Zumanity June 27th through July 1st and she is launching a clothing line on HSN starting in July.
As always, NeNe, thanks for keeping it real!
