Nicole Richie is coming back to reality TV. Yesterday, VH1 announced that they were producing a new show called #CandidlyNicole, based on the Fashion icon, Creative Director of House of Harlow 1960, actress, author, entrepreneur and philanthropist's popular AOL series and Twitter feed.
Besides being the daughter of pop music Legend Lionel Richie, Nicole became famous when she starred on the reality hit The Simple Life with Paris Hilton from 2003-2007. Since becoming a star in her own right, Nicole has cleaned up a drug problem with a stint in rehab, married Good Charlotte musician Joel Madden, had two children and founded The Richie Madden Children’s Foundation. She currently acts as the Creative Director for House of Harlow 1960, offering ready-to-wear, jewelry, eyewear, footwear and handbags.She also recently starred as one of the three mentors — along with Jessica Simpson — on NBC’s Fashion Star and is also a best-selling author of the novel The Truth About Diamonds.

According to the press release the 8 – 30 minute episodes "will detail her daily adventures and give insight into her decisions on style, relationships, her work life and her journey to adulthood. Whether it’s having a discussion with her dad about who his favorite daughter is on Father’s Day, meeting with a doctor about having her tramp stamp removed or helping her best friend find a date, Nicole has no problem offering her uncensored opinion to everyone she meets (even if they didn’t ask for it). Her one-of-a-kind, tongue-in-cheek commentary inspires people to laugh, learn and shake their head in wonderment."
