Forget about duck calls and beards and controversy, it seems the ladies of Duck Dynasty have found away to separate themselves from their burly counterparts. Y'all recall when Willie's beautiful daughter Sadie became the face of Sherri Hills' prom dress line. Then, her mom Korie Robertson opened Duck and Dressing boutique in the family's hometown. Next, Jep Robertson and wife Jessica partnered with a designer Corello to create a line to benefit St. Jude.

Now, Jase's wife Missy is stepping into the limelight. She's just announced that she's partnering with Stephanie Carter's Southern Fashion House (the creator of the fun Judith March line) to create a wardrobe that's both fun for women…and age appropriate. I know a few housewives who should take that hint!

Speaking to Broadway World, Missy describes her reasoning behind the line, and I have to say, I totally agree. She tells the site, "I felt there was a void in the market for busy, working moms who want to look put together without having to put a lot of effort into it while staying modest and age-appropriate. These styles are reflective of the fun new fashions that can always be found in the junior section of department stores. However, the silhouettes in the collection are intended to flatter women of all ages, shapes, and sizes."

Missy explains that she believed moms-on-the-go to be her target audience, but she was surprised at the reception her styles received. She reveals, "At first I thought it would be a woman like myself a busy mom who is always on the go. However, my 19 year old cousin loves every piece that I've worn so far and asks to borrow them. My 84-year old grandmother has also picked out a few pieces for herself. It seems to appeal to all ages, and that thrills me."

Her collaborating designer is equally excited about the venture. Stephanie Carter shares, "I have always wanted to do a line with longer hemlines but simply needed the inspiration to do so. When I met Missy, she inspired me to put the collection together using my design and retail background, and so our collaboration began."

I have to say that I think all of the Robertson women are very well-dressed and trendy. However, I relate the least to Missy's style (although I absolutely adore her), so I am looking forward to see her line.
