Yes! Big Rich Texas: Whitney's Having a Baby is just around the corner!
Style Network announced yesterday that the Big Rich Texas spinoff featuring Bonnie Blossman and Whitney Whatley premieres next month.
I checked out Big Rich Texas for the first time last season and immediately fell in love with Bonnie and her family. Words cannot express how much I look forward to watching Whitney and Brandon "Booger" Overbey prepare for – and meet! – their daughter, Rhythm Myer.

Per the official press relaease:
"Over six episodes, Whitney learns about pregnancy, parenting, and standing on her own two feet since it’s always been Whitney and Bonnie against the world. Also, Bonnie focuses on becoming the sexiest grandma in Dallas.
Meanwhile, Whitney’s pregnancy raises a lot of questions from her dad, Jason, regarding whether her fiancé, Brandon, will be able to provide for her and the baby with the lifestyle they are accustomed.
From an over-the-top baby shower to a blinged out pink cheetah print nursery, it will be a wild nine-month ride for this outrageous family. A ride that will end with a bang – the birth of Whitney’s first Big Rich baby."
I'm so excited. October 6 cannot come soon enough! On the flip side, I could not care less about season four of Big Rich Texas, as Leslie Birkland and Pam Martin are reportedly the only returning cast members. That's right, Bonnie, Melissa Poe, DeAynni Hatley, Connie Dieb, and Cindy Davis are out. And you won't believe why! Can you say childish and ridiculous?
Leslie's calling the shots now? Goodness – consider me TUNED OUT – and I hope the ratings tank. I never saw seasons one and two of Big Rich Texas, so I don't know much (beyond rumors) about Pam. But seriously – Leslie? She must have some dirty dirt on the producers. I can't think of ANY other reason why they'd bring back her whiny ass and let go all of the fun ones.
Speaking of Pam – do you remember the lawsuit she filed against Bonnie? She tried to sue Bon for libel and slander, business disparagement, tortious interference with contract, and conspiracy.
Pam's official complaint read: "Miller, Patterson, and Blossman, who are also jealous of Pam's success, have engaged in a cyber-bullying campaign to defame Pam by maliciously and falsely accusing Pam of, among other things, being: 1) a former stripper; 2) a drunk who pays her bills by servicing old men and stealing credit cards; 3) a sociopath; 4) a pathological liar; 5) a criminal; 6) a gold digger; and 7) a drunken barfly."
Gold digger? Sociopath? Pathological liar? Sounds familiar. 😉 And the plan for season four of Big Rich Texas makes much more sense now.
Anyway, Pam's lawsuit is dead, as a Dallas County district judge dismissed all the claims against Bonnie. Also, per the ruling, the claims cannot be refilled.
Bonnie's lawyer shared, "I am very pleased with the outcome of the case," adding, "Reality TV thrives on confrontation and controversy, and if the cases based on those exchanges were allowed to proliferate, the courts would be very busy indeed."
TELL US – ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO BONNIE AND WHITNEY'S SHOW? WILL YOU WATCH LESLIE AND PAM ON BIG RICH TEXAS?
