It's been a hard time for the Brown family as Kody has recently lost one of his brothers. Curtis Brown, who has appeared on a few episodes of TLC's Sister Wives, died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Kody shared the sad news with fans via his Twitter page, writing, "Curtis Brown, brother of @realkodybrown & husband of @EricaLBrown333 passed away 6-17. Amazing man who'll be missed!"

Kody later retweeted a message from wife Meri to Curtis' wife which reads, "You only have to miss him this lifetime, you'll have him forever. The love you share is an inspiration to me! Love you Erica!"
The Facebook page for Kody's wives' business also shared the tragedy. Meri, who usually updates My Sister Wife's Closet posted, "Our brother Curtis Brown left this world on June 17th. His 34 years were full of life and love. He was a God fearing man, an amazing husband and father, a wonderful brother, son, uncle and friend. We love you Curtis! We will miss you! Thank you for being a part of our lives!"
Curtis is survived by his wife and three children, ages, 7, 8, and 12. A picture of him posted by Kody is below.
Kody and his family will return to TLC with a new season later this summer, although a premiere date has yet to be announced.
