Breaking Amish: LA is coming soon to a TV near you!
Once again, TLC promotes Breaking Amish as a series about five sheltered young adults, four Amish and one Mennonite, who leave their communities to experience life beyond the church. Only this time the cast visits Los Angeles instead of New York City.
TLC promises, "This season features brighter skies – and darker secrets – as the cast leave their homes and venture west to live together, experiencing a lot of fake firsts along the way." Bright lights! Door knobs! Airplane! Gag me!

Betsy, 21, from Ohio. Betsy was adopted as a baby into an Amish household. She tried living outside of the faith but recently married an Amish man. Betsy continues to struggle with being a member of the community. (playing the part of confused Sabrina)
Devon, 21, from Indiana. Devon feels conflicted about the Amish lifestyle. He remains unsure of his future and is interested in experiencing life among the English before making a final decision. (nice hat, almost Abe)
Iva, 19, from Pennsylvania. Iva's parents divorced when she was young, and her father left the community, though her mother remained. Iva lived life with the English in the past but failed to make it work. (repeat Rebecca)
Lizzie, 21, from Pennsylvania: Lizzie previously lived outside of the community, much to the disappointment of her parents, and now she has a secret that makes her want to leave once again. (what is Kate 2.0's secret? another DUI? my guess is pregnant!)
Matt, 24, from Pennsylvania: Matt's family joined the Mennonite faith when he was seven. Two of his siblings have left the church, and Matt wonders if his interest in fashion design will set him on the same path. (hopefully not nearly as repulsive as Jeremiah, the first)
Breaking Amish: LA premieres Sunday, July 21 at 10/9c on TLC.
