Famewhore puppetmaster Andy Cohen (who may or may not be taking over the world in a devious plot to inundate society with faux-blonde, surgically altered, fembots who'd do anything for their 15 minutes) recently did an interview where he talked all things Housewives.
Andy continued to insist the Housewives franchise wouldn't be adding any locations – at least not at the present time – and dished on why some ladies break-out into spinoff territory.
"Well, I mean, I always say 'Never say never,'" the Watch What Happens Live host tells TheWrap about extending the Housewives map. "But, I think we're pretty good and I still do think we are pretty good. I mean, we've got six going and it's great."

Instead Bravo is putting its resources into churning out spinoffs faster than they churn out products. Andy says the secret to having a spinoff career is having a life outside of the show – except I suppose if you're Kim Zolciak cause all she does is reproduce in wigs! "Phaedra [Parks] does a lot of other things outside of the 'Housewives' show. Kandi [Burruss] is a songwriter. Lisa [Vanderpump] has restaurants. So, these are other things that the women do in their real lives that lend themselves to seeing more of them," Andy explains. With that sentiment in mind do we think Teresa Giudice will be getting a spinoff next?
"I think that the women just living their lives, that's what they do on the 'Housewives.' The shows that we've picked up have been because the women have other things going on. Kim's show started with her getting married, which is really the natural way to, it lends itself well to another series, you know?"
Let's hope other engaged Housewives don't get similar treatment – ahem Gretchen Rossi and Slave Smiley. Although I think Kim is a character all her own with a much zanier and outrageous life.
Speaking of Kim, Andy confirms her wig will not be returning to Real Housewives of Atlanta! "It was mutual," Andy says of Kim's departure. "It was something that we all did together. I mean the natural evolution was it was time for her to go and we figured out how to make it work for everybody."
"It seemed to happen as it should and it was a great season of Atlanta after she left. So, I think the reunion kind of tied it up really nicely," he elaborated. Andy also shares that viewers can expect a much more vibrant Kroy Biermann on this season's revamped Don't Be Tardy. "It's really fun and funny and surprising," Andy says of the show. "And then [Kroy] takes a much more active role than he has in the past. So, he's more involved. And the part that's not funny or fun is the part about, you know what's going on with Kim and her mom [Karen Zoliack]."
Karen will not make an appearance but as we saw in the first two episodes the legal problems between Karen and Kim will be featured extensively this season.
Surprisingly Andy hints that the original spinoff queen might be making a return to the network that made her famous after her talk show fails. Yep, here comes Bethenny Getting Divorced! Sans Bryn, I imagine given the custody dispute and all!
" [Bethenny Frankel] She's got a really full plate right now and I don't know what she has time for," Andy dishes. "But, she and I are always talking about working together again and I hope we do. I don't think it's out of the question. She's about to launch this huge other show." I don't think I need to see another Bethenny reality show. Frankly, I've seen enough Frankel.
