As the Jersey Shore's end draws near, one of its former cast members is making a last-ditch effort to remain relevant. Jersey quitter Angelina Pivarnick is desperately looking for a high profile attorney to help her sue MTV.
A source tells TMZ that Angelina is fuming over the way MTV edits her appearances on the show. She feels that they are making her look bad on purpose and that MTV humiliated her by rejecting her request to help with the Restore the Shore special.
Angelina reached out to Gloria Allred, attorney to the f-listers who normally leaps at the chance to rep famous clients and hold press conferences. (But doesn't seem to ever do much in court?) Gloria shot down Angelina's request for representation, saying Angelina's not famous enough and she doesn't do charity work she's just too busy at the moment.

We're sure Angelina is putting out the word, hoping another lawyer will be crazy enough to take on MTV with her flimsy claims. And I do think they're flimsy, at best. All reality TV stars pretty much agree to let the show editors do what they want in the cutting room to make the most dramatic scenes, right? So it shouldn't be a great shock that she was made to look bad. She obviously gave them some good material to work with….
In other Jersey Shore legal drama, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is dealing with a counter suit from Devotion Spirits. The Sitch filed suit last month, claiming the company owed him millions for promoting their protein-infused vodka. The company filed a counter suit against the rehabbed reality star, stating that he was a horrible spokesperson who didn't keep up his end of their contract.
Devotion claims that Mike "constantly showed up late to events, concealed an alleged drug problem, was seen asking investors for weed, refused to do interviews at events and constantly demanded extra perks for his friends." They even allege that Mike was so hopped up on cocaine during a 2011 appearance, he spent most of the time in the bathroom. Their suit claims he "locked himself in the bathroom and refused come out." And after he finally emerged, appearing to have just been snorting, security guards said they found cocaine-like residue, which Mike's team says is a lie.
The company ditched Mike back in March. On the one hand it makes sense to dump him since he's a recovering addict who is trying to stay sober, but then on the other hand, you have someone like Kim Kardashian repping Midori even though she openly admits that she almost never drinks alcohol.
A judge has yet to rule in the case – we'll keep you posted on which side will have to pay up!
TELL US – SHOULD ANGELINA MOVE ON ALREADY AND GET OVER IT? DO YOU THINK THE SITCH WAS REALLY AS MUCH OF A MESS AS THE COMPANY CLAIMS?
