Basketball Wives' Evelyn Lozada just can't catch a break, can she? First, she gets head butted by her God awful husband Chad Ochocinco Johnson when the pair had barely been married a month, said headbutting leads to divorce and the cancellation of her spin-off Ev & Ocho. Add to that all the classy ladies Chad was seeing in addition to his wife, and it's been a pretty cruddy couple of weeks for the reality television star.
Well, they say when it rains it pours. Now it seems that Evelyn's first scheduled post-abuse incident interview isn't going as planned either. Not only that, one of Chad's best friends is coming to his defense and blaming Evelyn for the head butt heard 'round the world. Do what?

TMZ is reporting that Evelyn had agreed to sit down with Good Morning America's Robin Roberts to tell her side of the story…citing Robin's journalistic integrity as the main reason for agreeing to the chat. I'm sure Evelyn totally said that! The interview was to take place in Evelyn's hotel, so she would have some privacy in light of the topic. Unfortunately, Robin suffers from a blood disorder called myelodysplastic syndrome, and she had a scheduled treatment session that she (understandably) couldn't miss, and she had to pull out of the interview. Amy Robach will be filling in for Robin, and Evelyn is apparently fine with the substitution.
Moving on to Chad's friend accusing Evelyn of instigating the assault, former NFL star Warren Sapp is coming to his buddy's defense. Crunktastical reports that Sapp believes Evelyn started the whole thing, and that Chad shouldn't have had to go to jail. He says, “When is the last time one of your homeboys called you and told you, ‘Let me tell you about this fight at the club last night where this guy and his girlfriend were walking by and he turned around and head-butted the girl.’ Never. He’s taking the rap for it. We don’t do that. She did it.” Um, I am a bit confused by his logic. Is he saying head butting is too girly a way to commit battery? We all know if Evelyn was going to beat on someone, she'd do it with a bottle or a shoe…not her own forehead.
Sapp then refers to Evelyn as a hollow person who uses her looks to get what she wants. Ouch! He states, “That’s a woman that is going to depend on her beauty for the rest of her life to open any door she wants to walk through, and she’s going to do that to her forehead? I’m done. [Chad] is a bunch of fun and I am sorry this had to happen to him.” Again, I'm confused. Here he seems to be implying that Evelyn wouldn't head butt because it could mess up her looks. Gracious.
Well, even though Evelyn's going through a rough patch, things aren't all roses and chocolates for Chad. After being recently fired from the Miami Dolphins for the abuse allegations, Chad decided to cheer himself up by playing a little Madden NFL 13. Game Revolution shares–and this is hysterical–that the game has updated its roster (that was fast!), and Chad is no longer a part of the game. The poor guy tweeted, "That awkward moment when you realize you're not on Madden13 and have to create yourself…" Awkward indeed!
