Life may be a “Tripp” for Bristol Palin, but life’s not a beach at the moment, as her upcoming reality show, ‘Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp‘, may be shut down over a new lawsuit filed by Kyle Massey and his brother Christopher.
Kyle (who met and bonded with Bristol on DWTS) and Christopher had worked with Bristol on a reality show that was going to feature Bristol and her son moving to L.A., with the Massey brothers helping her adjust to life in California. The tentative title was “Bristol-ogy 101“. Wait, really? Christopher was a star on ‘Zoey 101’. Seems a little lacking in creativity.

At the last minute, a producer cut the Massey brothers out of the project, renamed the show and moved it to Alaska using Bristol’s “trial marriage” (aka shacking up) as the focus. Kyle is suing the producer, David MacKenzie, for an unspecified amount. He claims he and Chris were supposed to earn $500,000 for starring in the show with Bristol and they want more for coming up with the show idea. They’re also trying to prevent the show from airing. Is there a petition we can sign, Kyle? Yard signs? Call us!
I’m floored over $500,000 to co-star in a reality series starring Bristol Palin? How much was SHE promised to make, then?? There are Housewives who don’t make even close to that much. No disrespect to the Massey twins, but I’m having a hard time wrapping my brain around this. I understand wanting your cut of something that was allegedly YOUR idea, but the dollar amounts are really “Tripping” me up!
Oh Kyle, think long and hard before deciding if you really want to take credit for this.
TELL US – DO YOU THINK KYLE WAS CUT OUT OF THE DEAL UNFAIRLY? DID YOU WATCH THE PREMIERE OF BRISTOL’S NEW SHOW? AM I MISSING ANYTHING GOOD?
