It’s double elimination night on Dancing with the Stars.
We’re 3 seconds in and I need to call in Kim Zolciak for a wig intervention on Brooke Burke. That was the most unnatural hair piece ever shown on national television. And that includes The Donald.
Right away we find out that Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd are safe and moving on to the semi-finals. Those Packer fans are not to be underestimated, thankfully.
Since we’re down to just a handful of couples, they find even more fillers for this week. They create a “Dance Center” segment that just fell flat, unless you enjoyed that bit with Len, jogging shirtless and oiling himself up. I may need therapy. And in another “ABC family show moment”, we’re shown a montage of Katherine Jenkins talking about her naughty bits and an edited clip of her shaking boobs over and over and over and..you get the idea.

ABC is obviously as over the whole domestic violence scandal as Rihanna is. Chris Brown performs his latest tune ‘Turn Up the Music’. I was waiting for her to just pop up and sing it with him since they’re collaborating again. They’ll reunite on stage one of these days, you and I both know it.
We find out the first eliminated couple and, sadly, it’s Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower. This means that William Levy and Cheryl Burke advance to the semifinals.
Next up is another snore-worthy “Dance Center” segment, followed by a quick dance tribute to the late Dick Clark.
Lastly, we find out that Maria Menounos and Derek Hough are safe and moving on to the semi-finals. (Big shock, right!?) This news means that it’s curtains for Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Although Melissa was awkward most weeks, I feel a little bad for her since it’s her BIRTHDAY. She takes it well and says she’s grown and learned so much during her time on the show.
Next week it’s semi-finals!
