It’s time for the daily Real Housewives of New Jersey post. Poor Andy Cohen is laughing all the way to the bank with this lot! Yesterday we reported that Teresa Giudice made a public apology to her co-stars, former friends, and family members; well here are the details of that apology!
“Things have gotten out of hand,” Teresa admitted to In Touch Weekly (via their print edition). “I want to accept responsibility for the things I did wrong. I’m truly sorry.”
“I wish I could take it all back and start all over,” the reality star confesses. Teresa reveals that the reason for her change of heart is meeting people with real problems on Celebrity Apprentice – and how much it hurts her daughters to be separated from their aunt and uncle. Plus, Teresa admits she misses her friends and family! “All of this drama seemed insignificant after I was exposed to people with real problems,” she shares. “I met a lot of people on Celebrity Apprentice who have lost family members and would give anything just to spend one more day, one more minute with their loved ones.”
“Everyone makes mistakes in life, and Lord knows that I’m not perfect, but I want the girls to see me take responsibility for my actions,” Teresa insists. “It’s been very hard on the girls; families should love and support each other.” Teresa reveals the time is now for her to put aside the pettiness and focus on the positive. And she is ready to forgive – and forget! “My brother has a special bond with Gia. She misses him and it breaks her heart,” Teresa discloses.

As for Joe Gorga calling her “fake”, which Reality Tea exclusively reported; Teresa is empathetic. “I know he was reacting from all the pressures he’s facing right now,” Teresa explains. “I know he doesn’t really feel that way about me.”
And proving (apparently) she’s sorry, Teresa has penned apology letters for each of her castmates.
To Joe and Melissa, she writes: “I’m sorry I haven’t been as enthusiastic about Melissa’s singing career as I should have been. This has been difficult for our parents, it breaks their hearts. I want to make them proud and I want them to be happy. Life is too short for this. Let’s cherish every moment.”
Teresa also admits she really misses former bestfriend Jacqueline Laurita. “Things got blown way out of proportion,” Teresa says of their dramatic friendship ending. “I hope we can resolve our issues. I miss her in my life.” On Tuesday, the ladies spoke on the phone. Afterward, Jacqueline claimed she did not believe Teresa’s apology was sincere and things had not changed as Teresa promised she wanted them to.
Teresa is not giving up, writing: “I’m sorry I didn’t respond to your apology on Twitter. I miss our friendship. I miss being like Lucy and Ethel with you. I hope we can work through these problems one day, when you are ready.”
Jacqueline admitted she was willing to take “baby steps” to get their friendship back on track and hopefully things will work out!
Teresa also had some apologetic words for cousin Kathy Wakile, who recently said she’s had little contact with Teresa and tries to avoid talking to her because she doesn’t want to set her off. Teresa admits her husband Joe Giudice‘s comment calling Kathy “raccoon face” was out of line and hurtful. “We all say things we don’t mean. I would love nothing more than things going back to the way they used to be,” Teresa declares. “I will never lose hope.”
“I know in my heart the good times we have shared over the years represent your true feelings for me,” Teresa adds in her apology letter. “I have nothing but love for you in my heart.”
And finally, Teresa offers yet another apology to Caroline Manzo! Teresa writes: “I am truly sorry for offending you and your cooking. I miss having fun and letting lose with you. We had a lot of fun together and shared many laughs. I want us all to get along,” Teresa pleads.
And yet again, she attempts to defend her Olive Garden comments. Can’t Olive Garden give Caroline an endorsement deal or something – or sue one of them to shut up about this subject? It’s rapidly becoming the RHONJ version of #BlackBabyGate.
“The Olive Garden always serves large portions of food, and Caroline is always serving large, delicious Italian meals,” Teresa half-heartedly explains. “I hope one day we can get past all of this.” Something tells me so long as Teresa has a relationship – professional or otherwise – with Dina Manzo, Caroline is not going to find herself in a forgiving mood.
And in response to Teresa’s public apology, Caroline is publicly NOT accepting! “This is what you do when you apologize to somebody,” Caroline snapped while appearing on Jimmy Fallon‘s show. “You put it on the front of a magazine.”
Caroline added, “No, she’s not sorry. Her publicist is sorry.” Ouch! Although – she has a good point. Why go on a magazine to apologize to friends and family?
Oh – and in case you’re interested; Melissa is releasing her newest song today. It’s a ballad – without autotune(!) for her beloved husband! Just imagine my face right now…
SO – WAS TERESA’S APOLOGY SINCERE OR A PUBLICITY STUNT? OR A LITTLE OF BOTH? DO YOU THINK SHE CAN REBUILD HER RELATIONSHIPS?
