Poor Kim Kardashian, it seems nothing is going right for the beleaguered star of Keeping Up With The Kardashians! Her marriage to Kris Humphries is reportedly on the rocks and her family hates her hubby anyways, her mother Kris Jenner pimps her out mercilessly for a measly 10%, her brother Rob Kardashian can’t dance, and now she’s been voted “Most Annoying Celebrity of 2011!”
In an annual Pop Culture Poll conducted by Parade and Yahoo! OMG!, Kim received 29% of the vote to beat out even Charle Sheen as the most annoying celeb of the past year! Wow – um… that sucks, but why am I not surprised?
But don’t feel too badly for Kimmie as she is in good company! Joining her on the annoying list are a few more reality stars, most notably Jersey Shore star Snooki who garnered 21% of the votes! Donald Trump also made the list with 5% of the votes.
And the news for Kimmie gets even worse as Vivid Entertainment’s Steve Hirsch tells TMZ the company REJECTED an offer to sell her sex tape! “We were offered $20 million for the Kim tape but have decided that we are going to hang on to it … for now.” Which means it’s still available for your viewing pleasure, if you are into that sort of thing.
Days after Kimmie tied the knot, TMZ broke the news that someone was actively trying to take the tape off the market. Many of course suspected it was Kimmie herself, something that now appears not to be the case.
Mr. Hirsch does tell TMZ that his reasons for rejecting the sale were honorable, all things considered. “Although the offer that we ultimately received was substantial,” he explains quelling suspicious that the offer price wasn’t as high as the 30M he was after. “When I realized that it wasn’t Kim it became less appealing. Kim is a superstar and if it were to be sold, it should be to her.”
If Kim keeps annoying the public it seems like her economic potential to earn enough dough to get that tape off the market is going to dry up soon! I’m frankly shocked that Kim wasn’t the prospective buyer – maybe she was hiring someone else to try and buy the tape for her?
