The Real World is back!
For it’s 26th season the OG of reality TV will be heading back to sunny, beautiful San Diego where seven diverse strangers will be forced to do everything together for our viewing pleasure! Expect lots of drama as hooking up, arguing, and life changing opportunities invade the beach community of La Jolla!
This season, the diverse group includes a Zimbabwean Gymnast, a Professional Football Player, a Nuclear Engineer, a Drag King, a Model, a Bisexual Recent Graduate, and a San Diego Native who, as the youngest in the house, may have something to teach her roommates yet.
The Real World: San Diego premieres Wednesday, September 28 at 10pm et/pt on MTV. A preview for the new season is below –

Ashley Kelsey: This 24-year-old from Winsted, CT has never left home before – literally she has never lived with anyone but her mom – who calls her every, single day about 20 times! Ashley, who is a recent UCONN graduate, has worked as a model and bartender, but hopes to be a sideline sports caster! Oh, and she’s kinda boy crazy.
Alexandra Govere: Originally raised in a small village in Zimbabwe, this 22-year-old who currently lives in LA was the youngest person ever to compete on the Zimbabwean National Gymnastics Team! She is also an AIDS activist who founded the Kijana Project, a charity that supports AIDS orphans, and she was featured in Teen People as “One of 20 Teens Who Will Change the World” Wow!
Frank Sweeney: Nicknamed “Hurricane Frank” the 22-year-old party animal and emotional wreck from Middlebury, VT, is a former college athlete who wears his emotions on his sleeve – and really on every article of clothing; as he hooks up with everyone: men, women, you name it…
Priscilla Mendez: The 19-year-old Mexican beauty from Spring Valley, CA is pre-med with plans to become an anesthesiologist. She has an extremely close relationship with her large family; in fact her grandparents, who arrived in the US illegally, are now millionaires who paid for her boob job and she speaks to her mother about EVERYTHING – even sex positions! Um… yuck.
Nate Stodghill: The 22-year-old womanizing farmboy from Rolla, MO loves to party and has no qualms about admitting he has never been faithful to any girlfriend and has slept with over 50 women! But that’s not all there is to Nate, he earned his degree in nuclear engineering and is a suicide prevention activist!
Samantha McGinn: The 21-year-old Chesapeake, VA native is a self-proclaimed “Stud Lesbian” and “girlfriend stealer.” She lives at home while attending college to become a parole officer and is an activist in the LGBT community where she performs as her drag king alter ego, Shawn Jade!
Zach Nichols: The 23-year-old from Brighton, MI is an arena football player with dreams of playing for the NFL. He is also a physical therapist. Girl-crazy Zach is a conservative country boy, who likes beer, guns, country music, and “cougar hunting” with his two best friends.
