Teresa Giudice and husband Joe Giudice found themselves yet again in a New Jersey courtroom on Wednesday, and no, it had nothing to do with the bankruptcy fraud charges they are facing, but more to do with Joe’s former business partner accusing him of fraud.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars are being sued by Joe’s former business partner Joe Mastropole who accused Joe of forging his signature on a mortgage document in order to take out another loan and keep $1 million for himself.
While in court, the bankruptcy issue came up and Teresa testified that she had no idea her husband Joe was declaring bankruptcy, while also admitting that he forged her name behind her back on court papers detailing their financial woes. Joe’s defense was that everybody does and he didn’t think it was a big deal.
According to the NY Post, Teresa was unhappy about the bankruptcy questions and at one point during her cross examination, she sniped at the judge, “What does my bankruptcy have to do with this?”
It didn’t end there as the Post also reports Teresa was then seen outside of the courtroom arguing with a woman, who she accused of leaking information. RadarOnline adds that the woman Teresa was arguing with was Monica Ciccone, the wife of William Saracino Jr., the lawyer representing Mastropole. While in the courtroom, Teresa reportedly pointed to Monica saying, “You and me gotta talk!”
Then in the hallway, Monica was engaged in a conversation with another person when Teresa interrupted saying adamantly to Monica, “I need to talk to you!” Monica denied her request saying, “I don’t have to talk to you, we both have lawyers,” which reportedly made Teresa irate. She then jumped in Monica’s face, pointing her finger and yelling, “You need to stop telling people my business!”
Monica retorted by calling Teresa a bully. The war of words continued back and forth until Joe pulled Teresa away to get in the elevator. RadarOnline adds that as the doors closed, Joe was overheard saying in frustration, “I’m f**king tired of this TV sh*t!” Interesting.
Some good news though for Teresa. The judge dismissed the fraud charge against her in the case though Joe was not cleared. The judge however added that the dismissal may not fully exonerate Teresa as there still may be a breach of contract issue.
