NYC Housewife Kelly Bensimon: “I’m Not Crazy, I Am Unpredictable”

A blogger’s dream, Kelly Bensimon, is back in the headlines once again. This time around the Real Housewives of New York City star attempts to defend herself against those pesky crazy ‘rumors’ in the latest issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine.

And nothing says I’m not crazy like the above photo. We’re guessing the theme of the photo was meant to be fighting back, but all we see is a crazy lady with boxing gloves.

“I am not crazy. I am unpredictable,” declares Kelly, adding, “I’m not in therapy.” Interesting words coming from the 42-year-old mother of two who accused her co-stars of being “dangerous” and “unpredictable” during the reunion show. And in next month’s Glamour magazine, Kelly will declare, ‘I’m not crazy guys! Just a little dangerous.”

Things get even better as Bravo VP Andy Cohen also spoke to the magazine. “I think it was deeply disturbing. It seemed like she had a break of some kind, but I can’t say exactly what it was,” said Andy of the infamous St. John breakdown. Could Andy’s comments be a hint regarding Kelly’s unlikely return for another season? Perhaps.

And when it comes to her co-stars, Kelly has convinced herself is convinced they are jealous of her: “Whether it’s my nail color, my hair color, or the shoes I’m wearing, everything about me bothers them…They want to go to the parties I go to, they want to hang out with me, they want to do the things that I’m doing.” Her co-stars are about as jealous of her the same way Taylor Swift is jealous of Lindsay Lohan.

So how does Kelly explain her behavior to her two young girls? “I tell my girls, ‘Your mom gets paid to engage in inappropriate behavior.’ It’s an amazing opportunity for them to see that being mean is not okay. I tell them, ‘If you’re in a situation like this, walk out. Don’t come back with jelly beans.'” So in Kelly lala land, it’s okay for adults to engage in inappropriate behavior as long as they are getting paid?

And folks, you simply cannot make this up. The best writers in Hollywood couldn’t make this up. The August issue of Harper’s Bazaar hits newsstands July 20.
