BET’s College Hill South Beach Takes An Uglier Turn

BET’s College Hill South Beach brought in the drama with the first episode, and that trend seems to be never ending unfortunately with Kyle who is arguably the most hated and worst cast member in the show’s history.

So last week’s episode ended with Kyle deciding for no reason at all to be a bully to the newest cast member Kay. What makes this worse is his idiot audience (Tiffany, Paul, Chris & sometimes Milan) who for some strange reason find his crude and disgusting behavior “funny.” There’s a saying that goes along the lines of the only thing worse than a Bully is his audience.

So we get into this week’s episode and Kyle continues to PMS, deciding to up his ante in his attacks on both Kay and Allison. I was truly in shock, angry, and disgusted with the things he was saying to both women. What made me angrier was the fact that none of the other roommates seemed to stand up for Kay with the exception of Allison.

This “man” goes on to threaten Allison by saying he wants to fight her, and beat her up. Gay or not gay, did Kyle forget he was still a male? Once again, none of the other punks and cowards, mostly Paul and Chris stepped in to defend Allison. Kyle goes on to make some very shameful remarks regarding Allison who is openly bisexual.

We see Kyle break down at the end of the episode admitting to being a bully and showing some remorse for his mean behavior, but that is not enough for me. I understand that he might be battling some emotional issues but his behavior on this show is simply shameful.

I would like to end this by giving kudos to Allison for sticking up for both Kay and herself. The other roommates with the exception of Brandon are nothing but punks, cowards and followers. Paul and Chris need to grow a pair, and oh yeah, it’s time for Chris to kick down that closet door, he’s not fooling anyone.
